How do I start Outlook 2003 with the reading pane tuned off for all folders?
Some people just hate that reading pane, and turning it off manually for
every single folder can be quite a daunting task. But there is a simple
solution. Just create a new shortcut to Outlook with the /nopreview switch. For
example: "%systemdrive%\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe " /nopreview.
Then use that shortcut to open Outlook. You’ll notice that the reading pane is
now completely gone.
