My Dell Optiplex GX270 does not offer me the NIC as a possible boot device in the BIOS. How do I resolve this?

The BIOSes on some Dells have been configured to not offer the NIC as a boot device. You can correct this issue by following these steps:
1. Reboot the PC.
2. Press F2 to enter the BIOS.
3. Enter the BIOS password (if requested).
4. Go in the menu titled Integrated Devices (Legacy Select Options).
5. Select Network Interface Controller and give it a value of On w/ PXE.
6. Press ESC.
7. Select Save Changes and Reboot.
8. Press F2 to go back into the BIOS.
9. Enter the BIOS password (if requested).
10. The NIC should now be available as a boot device.

Hope this helps.
