How do I find out the IMEI of my mobile phone?

The International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) is the serial number of your phone. If you have your mobile phone stolen, then the first thing the police will ask you is what the IMEI of your phone is so that they can identify it if they find it. To find out the IMEI of your phone, type in *#06#. Note this number down somewhere in case the unthinkable happens.
