Work life Update...November 2nd 2007
It's all good. I am yet again changing my
place of employment. I have accepted a role as IT&C Manager at NAS
Insurance.
This will be a departure from my Engineering/Training roles but I am
thoroughly looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead. Of
course this means no more technical training, so to all my students I
wish you luck and I hope that we will catch up during the future in that
small town called Perth ;-) I will maintain Jedi for a while yet
but I may not update it like I would if I were conducting courses.
Here are my new details...

February 3rd 2006
A week is a short time in IT, let me expand...
I have eagerly accepted a position at Dimension Data Learning Solutions
http://www.ddls.com.au/ as a Technical Instructor. This is
almost the identical role I currently provide at Alphawest. As
many of you will already be aware DDLS have been Alphawest Training's
friendly competitor since the very early days. I will start with
DDLS on the 10th of April so I will let you know my contact
details sometime after that.
Hope to see you on a course again soon in the future.

Well I guess it is....so long and thanks for all the fish?
Alphawest have decided to close the training centre down after many
years of great service to Western Australia.
I have accepted the option of a redundancy package and have decided to
leave Alphawest under my own steam to pursue alternate options. As
a 10.5 year veteran I decided it was time to go, I am really
excited about the future despite the bad thoughts the term redundancy
brings to most people. My last date with Alphawest will be the
24th of February.
